Tips For Choosing the BEST WEDDING PLANNER in Bali.

Table of Contents

If you are planning on having an overseas destination wedding in Bali then one thing that you are going to need is a wedding planner. Finding the right wedding planner with the skills, ability to communicate efficiently, that has a whole lot of imagination and creativity PLUS has all the right contacts is not as easy as it looks. So following are some valuable tips for choosing the best wedding planner in Bali.

Tip # 1: Make sure they have many previous weddings that they have done in the past to tell you about. Ideally, you want to go with a seasoned professional that has helped many Australian couples in the past with their marriage in Bali. Using a novice or some wedding planner that has just started out may save you a few dollars in the short term but you have to ask yourself this question: are you prepared to risk one on the most important days of your life with a person who is inexperienced? This is why you should trust and leave all your wedding arrangements to the team at YOUR BALI WEDDING. We have been helping Australian couples plan their wedding in Bali for over 14 years. This is true peace of mind.

Tip # 2: They should have an established supplier list where you can get your flowers, food, celebrants, venues, make up and accommodation. They should be able to present to you a variety of options for all parts of your wedding. Being locked into 1 supplier for everything without the option to pick and choose is not the best idea. Luckily, we have an array of really good suppliers in Bali that can provide everything you need for your wedding – all very reasonably priced.

Tip # 3: Are they good at communicating?  There are so many wedding planners in Bali looking to get your business, which gives you the upper hand. All you need to do is Google ‘weeding planners Bali’ and you will see what I mean. The choices are limitless so make sure that you go with a planner that is very quick to respond with your first email and quick to follow up on any inquiries you have before you make the commitment. Like with any business, you want fast, prompt turn around times and this is especially important when you are getting married in a foreign country. You don’t want any hassles, stuff ups or issues and you will get a good idea about the type of company you are dealing with from your first couple of interactions. If they are not speedy with replies or forgetful with emails, I would start to look elsewhere.

Tip # 4: Are you having many guests come over for the wedding? If so where are they going to stay? Hotels can get quite expensive so you may want to think about hiring a few villas for a week and having your guests stay in 3, 4 or even 5 bedroom Villas. A good question to ask your wedding planner is what type of villa accommodation can they offer and have they got contacts in this area. Luckily, this problem is solved when you use YOUR BALII WEDDING.

WHY?

Because we have a company that we partner with called Bali Villa Escapes that has literally hundreds of Villas that you can choose from all at competitive prices. We will help you find the right villa in for your guests that are totally private and completely luxurious. This is 1 massive hurdle and potential headache taken care of. Imagine having to organise the accommodation for your guests and they are staying all over the place in separate hotels – what an absolute disaster – the villa option is much much easier, you can even have your wedding ceremony in one of the villas.

TIP # 5: The planner should have an office right here in Bali. Never go with a planner that just has an office in Australia. Being in Bali means they have more contacts, they are locally based and can mitigate any problems that may occur quickly. Why? Because they are right there on the island. Being based in Australia is also an advantage, but 2 offices is a much safer and better solution.

TIP # 6: Can they handle the necessary paper work, government regulations and formalities that is involved with getting married overseas. They should have all the relevant documents on hand to email you so you get to eyeball them before you decide to do anything. This should be for all religions and not specific to one. Although the compliance is fairly standard across all denominations, they should be across all of this so there are no surprises on the actual day – believe me when I tell you that this can happen and does happen all the time so be very mindful of this.
