Sendy has a plethora of experience planning weddings and events in Bali. The value of the personal touch is so crucial to Sendy. she is passionate about infusing who the couple is into every wedding and creating something unique and magic every time.
Her role encompasses being a planner, strategist, designer, thinker, doer, perfectionist, artist, stylist and friend. Her role as the head of the Your Bali Wedding team brings her joy because they are supportive and give her the space and freedom to allow her imagination to run wild.
Sendy’s colleagues and team describe her as a passionate perfectionist and visionary who’s creativity is inspiring. Sendy knows luxury and her impeccable taste is ingrained in everything she does from the way the napkins are folded to the stunning floral arrangements she commissions, she epitomises style and class at every step of the planning process.
One of Sendy’s most distinguishing features is her impeccable English, which propels her forward as one of the top wedding planners in Bali. Originally from Batam Island near Singapore, her mother ignited her passion for languages by communicating with her in English from the time she was a small child. Her goal from a young age was to use her language skills to travel the world.
After high school, Sendy graduated from the Foreign Language Academy, but her real passion lay in the tourism and hospitality industry. After she had finished language school, she went to Jakarta to attend a music school and then came to Bali on holiday with a friend and being a creative thinker found Bali a place with countless opportunities. In no time at all, she had a job in sales and had permanently moved to the island. One of Sendy’s friends asked her to organise a birthday party and a wedding, this changed the course of her career.
