Bali Wedding Planner….Yes or No??

So, your taking the plunge and you have decided on a Bali Wedding for one of the most important days of your life, so what’s the next step? Do I need the services of a Professional Wedding Planner or can we manage this ourselves?

You can probably find a location, source a photographer, organize a caterer and hopefully find a great make-up artist, but to be honest it’s a huge amount of work and you don’t really know until it’s show time and maybe its just too late. If you engage the services of a reputable Professional Wedding Planner, you’re taking out all the guess work and unneeded stress that’s associated with the whole process. There are so many advantages of using a professional Bali wedding planner.

It’s important you find a wedding planner that has a great track record, has been established for at least five years or more and if the company is Australian owned it should give you a little more peace of mind. They can help you work through the maze of options and issues to consider, such as getting married in a villa, hotel, chapel, or maybe on the beach.

Making sure you choose the best photographer, makeup artist and formatting a budget are all easily managed by a Expert Wedding Planner because they have all the experience and above all the local knowledge – which is a massive advantage and bonus.

The overwhelming popularity of Bali as a wedding destination has attracted plenty of unscrupulous companies seeking to make a quick earn. The industry is basically unregulated so it’s not hard to set up a website and start offering so called professional wedding services. If you’re unlucky enough to end up with an incompetent and unprofessional wedding planner, your dream day may become a nightmare and you may find yourself more out of pocket than promised by the planner.

Little things can very easily go wrong in Bali that have a much larger impact on proceedings, even if you think you’ve got all the boxes ticked. Imagine your photographer was late or went to the wrong venue, or the confirmed wedding celebrant went to the wrong villa, or your caterer turned up with less alcohol than you originally ordered, the list goes on and the nightmare continues – do not risk it – these disasters happen and they are regular.

Even Internationally branded hotels with reputations intact can be a little misleading when it comes to divulging complete information on the details of your wedding package. The venue itself may have a 5-star rating but that doesn’t necessarily mean some of the other services they arrange for you such as the make-up consultant, or the photographer, offer the same level of service as the hotel. If hotels can save money by providing additional services at a lower cost to fit into their expected profit margin then there’s a good chance this may occur. Watch out for cheap hotel wedding packages – they are there to get you in and then they slug you with all those charges.

It’s also very important that you’re well versed in the legal parameters of marriage in Indonesia pertaining to religious requirements. For a marriage to be legally binding in Bali a religious and civil ceremony must take place. A reputable wedding planner will be aware of this and be able to inform you of the legal requirements and arranging the appropriate celebrant for your individual needs. Without a religious ceremony, couples are not able to be legally married in Indonesia. However many couples complete the legal aspect of being married in their home country before coming to Bali where the wedding function is held after a short symbolic ceremony takes place.

No doubt you have a vision in your mind of your perfect wedding venue, whether it’s in an amazing beach front villa, 5-star hotel or in a chapel, an experienced wedding planner will be able to offer you personalized options based on your needs. Everything pertaining to the occasion including the ceremony, reception venue, venue layout, menu and catering, sound and lighting, decorations, floral arrangements, decorations, beauticians, villa accommodation and celebrants will be taken care of.

Villa weddings are now in high demand; they provide the opportunity of an amazing setting amid luxurious surrounds and convenient accommodation. The bridal party will have accommodation at the same venue as the ceremony and after party making preparations for the event much easier. There are villa options providing plenty of sleeping accommodation for up to 20 odd guests and outdoor areas to cater for up to 200 hundred guests seated. Apart from that a villa wedding provides complete privacy, unrivalled luxury, and freedom to choose your own wedding planner, more flexibility for décor options and an amazing holiday to boot!

So now after being a little more enlightened and excited to get the ball rolling for your dream Bali Wedding, contact the team at Your Bali Wedding. We have more than ten years experience planning weddings and honeymoons for people in Bali from all over the world. The company is Australian owned with offices in both Australia and Bali and a database of trusted suppliers through years of service has resulted in lots of very happy customers.

Getting married in Bali will probably be one of the most exciting things you will ever do in your life. Just imagine having your friends and family flying over for the wedding to this wonderful tropical paradise. With fabulous shopping, world class restaurants, hip bars, an eclectic buzz that seems to go on 24/7, plus a massive selection of gorgeous honeymoon villas; the team at Your Bali Wedding know that Seminyak is the place to be.

Why are Seminyak weddings so popular?

The reasons are endless but we thought that to make it easier for you to decide we would highlight 5 reasons that put Seminyak at the top for your wedding location.

# 1: Basically, it’s just so handy

Everything is close by and getting to other places ( not that you need to go far) is simple and inmost cases a short taxi ride. Because Seminyak has now become the tourists hot spot in Bali most of what you need to enjoy your honeymoon is all within minutes walking. Legendary beach clubs like Ku De Ta, Potato Head, 5 star restaurants like Mama San, Merah Puti & Sardine are all in close proximity. Not to mention the shopping…OMG, there are so many cool boutiques along Seminyak’s main thoroughfare Jalan Kayu Aya or Eat Street. So make sure you have your credit card ready.

# 2: Your friends and family will enjoy the Seminyak experience.

Seminyak is famous because it has so many things to offer. From great beaches to fine dining there is something to satisfy even the most discerning traveller. For most Australian’s getting married in Bali, Seminyak ticks all the right boxes. We find that Aussie couples and their friends and family enjoy the sights, sounds and exotic mix that go into making up Seminyaks magic. It’s 24/7 here!

# 3 The villa accommodation in Seminyak is seriously fantastic.

In terms of holiday, honeymoon, guest and family accommodation Seminyak is by far the best area in Bali for staying in a villa. When you come to Seminyak you have to think villas – it’s the done thing here and anything else I can promise you will not be as good!

If you are coming to Bali for your wedding and are planning to spend a week or two here for your honeymoon, then you simply must stay in a private, romantic villa. Without doubt this is the preferred option for all our couples as villas offer so much more than hotels, in terms of luxury, facilities,  service, intimacy and those little extras that go into making your honeymoon one you will never forget. Make sure you speak with Cindy and her team at Your Bali Wedding about organising a villa in Seminyak for you and your family and perhaps friends that are coming over. We have over 925 hand picked villas that vary in price so you can choose one that’s in your budget – you will be really surprised by how affordable they really are.

# 4 Most of the best wedding venues in Bali are near Seminyak

We all know and have heard about the traffic jams that can and do happen in Bali. The last thing you want on your wedding day is to be stuck in traffic on the way to the ceremony. For this reason alone Seminyak is the perfect option as most of the best wedding venues are really close by and easy to get to. This means less time being held up in traffic and more time spent with your friends and family enjoying the moment. To see some of our best Seminyak wedding venues please click here. # 5 Having the ceremony and wedding in a villa

I know I have spoken about villa accommodation but have you thought about having your actual ceremony in a grand villa with vast, lush tropical Balinese gardens. In Seminyak, we have specific wedding villas that can accommodate up to 100 guests. So rather than travelling to a venue and then back to your villa why not have it all in one place where close friends and family can stay with you as well. I know you might what your own privacy, especially on your honeymoon but some of our villas are quite large with enough space and room for everyone so you get loads of personal space. Think about this option as many people do try this.

So there you have it. Our reasons why Seminyak is such a cool wedding destination. If you would like more information about Seminyak or other areas in Bali where yo would like to get married we are more than happy to advice you. All you have to do is send us an inquiry and we will get back to you ASAP.

Want to SAVE as much as your can on your Bali Wedding? Think Shoulder Periods.

If you want to save as much money as you can on your Bali wedding then I would advice you going when it’s the shoulder period. That is, the time between the low and high season, where you can go to Bali for your wedding when there are not hundreds of other couples looking to do the same thing. During peak periods you will end up spending considerable more money than you would if you get married during the quieter periods in Bali.

The peak period or high season is why everything is much more expensive.

The peak or high season is the July /August period. The reason for this is that this is summer in the Northern hemisphere and is the only time that most Europeans can get time off work to visit one of their favourite destinations. You will notice heaps more Germans, French and Scandinavians roaming the streets of Seminyak, Legian and Sanur during these months. Hence, all villas and hotel rooms tend to get booked out quickly and prices start to go up for the few remaining honeymoon or wedding villas.

Also, for entertainment everything starts to get booked out. A short stroll down the main road of Seminyak at night will confirm this. It is packed solid. Everything goes up in price; from car hire, food prices, anything to do with your wedding starts to increase – even booking a massage in your own private villa goes up in price. It’s just how it is during that period. So if you are thinking about getting married in Bali during the peak months, expect to pay top dollar.

The cheapest & most affordable period to visit Bali is the shoulder periods.

As a destination wedding island Bali tends to get booked out all year round. You can compound this by multiplying this by the number of guests you intend to have in your wedding party. Think having 50 to 100 people coming to your wedding. Where are they going to all stay? How are you going to accommodate everyone? This is why it’s a great idea to think about a wedding in Bali during the shoulder periods or non peak times like; April / May or Oct to January. A word of warning to all would be brides looking to get married during these months. The end of year period is during the rainy season so be prepared for tropical downpours. They can last 5 minutes or the whole day. Just be prepared.

It’s a good idea to have shelter all set up if you are having your wedding in a villa. But, if you are planning on having this outside; on the beach or on one of the great cliff tops, just don’t be too disappointed if its starts to bucket down. My advice is to have it in a villa where there is ample shelter.

One final thought before choosing a date.

So…before you and hubby pick that date and lock it in, remember to think about what is happening outside our country. Where are the tourists heading and what are the peak months.

Weddings during the shoulder period are far more relaxed, less pricey and less hassled. There are not so many people around and the island tends to open up just that bit more with all its beauty, tranquility and culture Yes it may rain and yes you may get wet, but think about all those great benefits!

There are still heaps of tourists around, but you will notice a significant drop in traffic, noise as well as competing for that table in the top restaurants in Seminyak. The advantages are significant!

WEDDING IN BALI – Your Questions Answered

We know you have a lot of questions about having your wedding in Bali. Yes, it can be stressful and a bit unnerving having a destination wedding in a foreign country so following are some answers to frequently asked questions we get all the time. If you have any more questions or need any help in organising your wedding in Bali please get in touch with us anytime.

Why have your wedding in Bali and not another tropical / exotic destination?

It is really the exotic nature of the place. I mean, it’s hard not to get totally seduced by Bali and the people. If you have never been there this might be hard to explain, but for those people that have been there, and keep going back, you will know what I mean. It is a magical, beautiful island that is extremely unique. There is no other place on earth where you are going to find such an intensity of culture mixed with the beauty of nature. It is seriously gorgeous and this makes Bali the ideal setting for your wedding. YES, there are other extremely beautiful wedding destinations in the world but Bali seems to have that magical and mystical aura that presents the perfect back drop for your wedding.

Another reason is the sheer scale of guests you can have for your wedding. It comes in at a much cheaper rate (and you get a lot more value for money), than having it back home in a standard boring wedding venue. Bali brings in economies of scale so it works out more economical for you than having it back home in Australia / Singapore or Hong Kong.

Why is a YOUR BALI WEDDING different?

Your Bali Wedding is really the only wedding planning company in Bali that is able to promise 5 essential ingredients that will make your wedding day in Bali perfect.

ONE: We have offices in Bali and in Sydney so we are able to have dedicated staff working on your wedding in Australia as well as coordinating everything in Bali. This is rare and NO OTHER company can offer this!

THREE: Our affiliation with Bali Villa Escapes means that we have the hugest range of wedding venues and VILLA accommodation for you to choose from. FOUR: Our head wedding planner, Cindy and her team have over 10 years experience organising weddings in Bali for Australians. You are not dealing with someone who has just started out in this business but you are going to put your wedding plans in the hands of a seasoned veteran. This means total security and peace of mind.

FIVE: We have Australia’s largest and most experienced destination weddings office in Bali, a team of 8 full time experts in Australia and Bali means that you We make sure that we are in touch with you constantly via email, phone and Skype. It couldn’t be easier or more streamlined.

In regards to the cultural differences between westerners and Balinese – what do I need to know?

The Balinese are extremely religious and spiritual. Everything they do, every part of their day is filled with spiritual and religious significance. Family is of paramount importance to them and they live within a very tight knit village community. It is far removed from our western way of life. But saying this you will not come across a more friendly or welcoming culture than the Balinese. Every action is with a smile and a warm gesture. This is their mantra and they actively promote happiness as a way of living. As westerners all we can do is learn from this and take this on board. Be mindful of their good nature but never take it for granted. Like with people all over the world, you need to show a level of respect to their way of life and culture. If you can learn even a few words like hello or thank you, the Balinese will appreciate this. There has been over the years an attitude amongst some Australians to go wild there with drinking and partying, but this is slowly changing as the relationship between the Balinese and Australians matures. All I can say is enjoy the culture, it’s food, people and religious ceremonies but be respectful Dress appropriately and adhere to their protocols, when going to a Balinese temple and avoid treading on their offerings which are dotted all over the place.

Will it be cheaper if I organise the wedding myself in Bali?

No it won’t be. Simple as that. You may save a few dollars here and there but overall you do not know the language and do not have the contacts and suppliers in place to get the discounts. Plus you are going to be really stressed and worried the whole time that something is going to go wrong. My advice is to forget about it. If you think you can manage the whole operation in a foreign country you are mistaken. If you have never dealt with the Balinese before and if you are unsure about the cultural differences in doing business ( especially something as time pressured as a wedding) then you are going to end up in serious trouble – it will go pear shaped – DON’T DO IT YOURSELF!

Will my marriage be recognised back in Australia? Will it be legally binding?

Absolutely, YES. Getting married in Bali will be recognised back home. We will guide you through the whole legal process and make sure you have the right paper work and legal documents. As soon as you arrive in Denpasar we will collect you from the airport and take you to your consular office to make sure all the correct documents are signed. We also have the wedding celebrants and Balinese officials present at your ceremony so everything is totally legal and legitimate; both in Indonesia and in Australia, Singapore, New Zealand and Hong Kong.

When is the best time to get married in Bali?

Be warned! Bali has a wet season and this runs from November through to February. Whilst it might not be raining the whole time during that period, you may want to think twice before you have a beach wedding or a wedding outside. When it rains it pours and it can last for hours – so be aware of the rainy and dry seasons. The rest of the year is generally dry, but it can also rain as well, with tropical showers. If you are having a wedding in a venue that’s completely covered then there is no need to be worried.

If it rains on your wedding day we can organise cover as Plan B. But overall no need to be overly concerned as we can move times for the wedding by a couple of hours in needed to avoid the rains.

How Many Guests are we able to handle?

It’s totally up to you. We can handle weddings ceremonies and receptions of any size. Our venues can hold as many as a thousand guests which is more than enough. Alternatively, if you are after a very intimate wedding then we can also hold it in a smaller venue or even in your villa.

What is the next step once we arrive in Bali?

There will be someone to meet you at the airport and take you straight to your Villa or hotel. Immigration can be quite lengthy in Bali, with extensive queues but our representative will be there to whisk you through immigration by organising your visa – it does cost $25, but we will help you buy this. With us there are no delays or queues at the airport – it’s only a matter of 30 min or so.

Is the villa where we will be staying near the venue?

Most of the villas and venues are in the local area of Seminyak so yes, everything is close by. Plus you will have a driver at your villa so there is no need to worry with the hassle of getting a taxi. Most locations are only 10 minutes away from each other. Distances in Bali are not huge but it’s the traffic that can be a concern. All you need to do is give yourself plenty of time to get anywhere.

What happens with the children?

If there are kids and you want a babysitter for the after party we can organise that. Our villa staff are great with kids and can keep them entertained for hours whist you are enjoying yourself.
Will there be a rehearsal?

No necessary. Although many couples think this is a necessity we don’t. our ceremonies run like clock work and because we are so well prepared and have done this so many times in the past, nothing unexpected should happen. It’s so seamless and we make it so easy that all you need is to show up on the day.

So how to I book my Bali wedding?

Simply complete the inquiry form and Cindy will get back to you ASAP. It is obligation free and we are happy to discuss anything you might need in detail.

Tips For Choosing the BEST WEDDING PLANNER in Bali.

If you are planning on having an overseas destination wedding in Bali then one thing that you are going to need is a wedding planner. Finding the right wedding planner with the skills, ability to communicate efficiently, that has a whole lot of imagination and creativity PLUS has all the right contacts is not as easy as it looks. So following are some valuable tips for choosing the best wedding planner in Bali.

Tip # 1: Make sure they have many previous weddings that they have done in the past to tell you about. Ideally, you want to go with a seasoned professional that has helped many Australian couples in the past with their marriage in Bali. Using a novice or some wedding planner that has just started out may save you a few dollars in the short term but you have to ask yourself this question: are you prepared to risk one on the most important days of your life with a person who is inexperienced? This is why you should trust and leave all your wedding arrangements to the team at YOUR BALI WEDDING. We have been helping Australian couples plan their wedding in Bali for over 14 years. This is true peace of mind.

Tip # 2: They should have an established supplier list where you can get your flowers, food, celebrants, venues, make up and accommodation. They should be able to present to you a variety of options for all parts of your wedding. Being locked into 1 supplier for everything without the option to pick and choose is not the best idea. Luckily, we have an array of really good suppliers in Bali that can provide everything you need for your wedding – all very reasonably priced.

Tip # 3: Are they good at communicating?  There are so many wedding planners in Bali looking to get your business, which gives you the upper hand. All you need to do is Google ‘weeding planners Bali’ and you will see what I mean. The choices are limitless so make sure that you go with a planner that is very quick to respond with your first email and quick to follow up on any inquiries you have before you make the commitment. Like with any business, you want fast, prompt turn around times and this is especially important when you are getting married in a foreign country. You don’t want any hassles, stuff ups or issues and you will get a good idea about the type of company you are dealing with from your first couple of interactions. If they are not speedy with replies or forgetful with emails, I would start to look elsewhere.

Tip # 4: Are you having many guests come over for the wedding? If so where are they going to stay? Hotels can get quite expensive so you may want to think about hiring a few villas for a week and having your guests stay in 3, 4 or even 5 bedroom Villas. A good question to ask your wedding planner is what type of villa accommodation can they offer and have they got contacts in this area. Luckily, this problem is solved when you use YOUR BALII WEDDING.

WHY?

Because we have a company that we partner with called Bali Villa Escapes that has literally hundreds of Villas that you can choose from all at competitive prices. We will help you find the right villa in for your guests that are totally private and completely luxurious. This is 1 massive hurdle and potential headache taken care of. Imagine having to organise the accommodation for your guests and they are staying all over the place in separate hotels – what an absolute disaster – the villa option is much much easier, you can even have your wedding ceremony in one of the villas.

TIP # 5: The planner should have an office right here in Bali. Never go with a planner that just has an office in Australia. Being in Bali means they have more contacts, they are locally based and can mitigate any problems that may occur quickly. Why? Because they are right there on the island. Being based in Australia is also an advantage, but 2 offices is a much safer and better solution.

TIP # 6: Can they handle the necessary paper work, government regulations and formalities that is involved with getting married overseas. They should have all the relevant documents on hand to email you so you get to eyeball them before you decide to do anything. This should be for all religions and not specific to one. Although the compliance is fairly standard across all denominations, they should be across all of this so there are no surprises on the actual day – believe me when I tell you that this can happen and does happen all the time so be very mindful of this.

Overseas Wedding Destinations, Bali ticks all the boxes.

If you are thinking about having your wedding overseas probably one of the most convenient and easy locations to get to would be Bali. There are just so many reasons why Bali makes the perfect destination for your overseas wedding that we thought that it would be easier to list these in point form.

  • Bali is so close to Australia. It’s a 6 or so hour flight from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane and roughly 3-4 hours from Perth. This means that you can arrive in Bali the day you depart. Forget about nasty jet lag issues or long haul flights that leave you shattered for a couple days. With Bali the time difference is only a couple of hours which means you can adjust very quickly to your time zone.
  • Getting there is a lot cheaper than a lot of other overseas wedding destinations. Virgin, Garuda, Jetstar & now Tigerair are all very competitive with their pricing and there are sales on all the time. Think about your guests as well. If they are going to be there at the wedding then they will appreciate these low cost air fares.
  • Probably the best thing about having your wedding in Bali is the whole experience. If you have been to Bali before you will know what I mean. But, if you have never been to this tropical paradise then you are in for a real treat. The whole island is buzzing with activity. It is a complete 360 from what we are used to here in Australia and the sights, different culture, wonderful scenery and magnificent beaches all add the experience you are hopefully wanting for your wedding day. Bali has something for everyone. From the rice fields in Ubud, to the beaches in Seminyak and Legian, your wedding is going to have that exotic edge if you decide to have it in Bali.
  • There are many really good wedding planners in Bali that can help you organise the whole event. From the ceremony to the reception even the accommodation. But, make sure you go with the right wedding planner. Do you homework. Speak to a few of them and make your decision based on their past performance and portfolio of past weddings.
  • It ends up being a whole lot cheaper. If you have your wedding in Australia, the costs can easily get up to the $50 000 mark once you look at dresses, venues and the actual event. Bali weddings can be surprisingly cheap and if you speak with one of our representatives at YOUR BALI WEDDING, we will be able to customise a wedding package that is going to be more affordable PLUS give you more bang for you buck than you would have thought.
  • If you love culture then Bali is the place to be. If you are a keen surfer, bike rider, hiker, adventure seeker, party couple then Bali also ticks the right boxes as an overseas wedding destination. So once the wedding ceremony is over you can kick start your honeymoon on this island paradise straight away. There is so much to do and so much to see in Bali that you are going to be busy the whole time. On the other hand, if you prefer to kick back and lay by the pool you can do this as well. Bali has thousands of great PRIVATE VILLAS you can rent that elevate your whole wedding and honeymoon experience to another level. Personal butlers, in house massages, private pools, you own chef, the list goes on and on. At YOUR BALI WEDDING, we can arrange your villa accommodation for you and your guests through our partnership with BALI VILLA ESACPES. We have the largest range of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 bedroom villas you can choose from, all with their own private pool!
  • It doesn’t matter what religion you are, we can cater for al religious denominations and have a range of marriage celebrants. You should however check all the legal implication of a Bali wedding before you decide to proceed as some countries laws and religious beliefs have different legal positions about Bali weddings.
  • If you love shopping then you can’t go wrong in Bali – for those girls or guys that love to get out there and grab a bargain then the main streets of Legian and Seminyak are the place to be. So post wedding shopping should be high on the must do things in Bali.

If you are worried about how the wedding day will go because you are in another country, then I just want to put your mind at ease. In Bali, YOUR BALI WEDDING has helped hundreds of happy couples tie the knot without a hitch. We have great partnerships with numerous photographers, make up artists, caterers, florists, celebrants and venues so all you have to do it turn up and everything will be taken care of.

Bali is a huge wedding destination for many international and Australian couples and we know everything there is to know about making this day perfect. So if you are looking for that overseas wedding destination that just ticks all the boxes, in my opinion you can’t go past Bali.

You can enjoy your meal in the comfort of air-conditioning in any of the family-owned restaurants or for a full sensory delight; you can rest your feet on the softest sand whilst taking in the natural beauty of the calm crystal clear waters of Jimbaran.

The scene at the bay is ideal for your pre-wedding photo shoot. The bay is cushioned by luscious tree covered mountains and you will surely be blown away by the iconic sunset over the horizon.

Bali Villa Escapes has luxury 3 and 4 bedroom wedding villas right on the waters of Jimbaran Bay. Each villa has it’s own private pool and assistant to take care of your every need.

Uluwatu

Many Australians fall in love with Bali because of the unbeatable surf breaks. Uluwatu is one of Bali’s most famous surfing spots. Getting into the surf at Ulu isn’t so simple but if you are an adventurous surf fanatic Uluwatu is definitely the beach for your wedding.

My first visit to Uluwatu was unforgettable. I sat down at a warung and slowly became hypnotized by the harmony of the waves, the gentle sea salt breeze and by the vision of the surfers effortlessly catching some epic breaks. The view from the top of the cliff is magnificent. Untainted open-ocean contrasted with luscious green grass covered cliff offers an idyllic tropical wedding location.

If you and your fiancé are passionate about surf sand and sun then you will love staying in one of the many fabulous villas with ocean views in Uluwatu.

Balangan

Just a short motorbike ride away from Uluwatu, Balangan beach is easily accessible from the street making it more appropriate for a large wedding celebration. Balangan is surrounded by tall palm trees, mountain tops and endless green fields.

It is best known as Bali’s beginners beach with it’s many surfing schools and café’s along the sand relaxing to Bob Marley tunes. The serenity and relaxed vibe of Balangan is unique. It is the ultimate escape from the hustle and bustle of busy Kuta and Seminyak. Its multi-leveled walk down to the sea gives you the option of having your reception either high up on a leveled mountain-top with a magnificent view of the horizon or right on the sand where the calmly crashing waves can cool your beach loving feet.

Bingin

For the couple seeking a truly intimate wedding with just a handful of loved ones; Bingin beach is one of Bali’s best-kept secrets.

This discreet beach is not over-crowded with tourists cafes or surfing schools; meaning that all you can hear is the clear blue waves crashing on the sand. Bingin is located in the more rural ‘country-side’ of Bali. On the drive there, you will have the pleasure of sharing the road with many cute and adorable farm animals roaming around the winding streets and many sleepy dogs taking a midday nap underneath the palm trees.

Dreamland

Dreamland Beach is a great wedding location for a couple who loves the non-stop energy of Kuta but also desires a tropical pearly white sand overtone. Dreamland Beach on Bali’s southern coast has recently been dubbed New Kuta Beach. Dreamland has been growing in popularity for surfers and pleasure seekers flocking to Bali in recent years. Dreamland boasts an eclectic mix of restaurants, bars and day spas ensuring you’ll be able to get the best pre-wedding treatments you deserve. Like many beaches along the southern coast you’ll be able to find that perfect Balinese mix of surf and open green fields.

We have focused here on the southern part of the island in the Bukit area but we can also organise beach weddings for you in other really popular tourist areas like Seminyak, Canggu as well as Legian which  also have gorgeous beaches with their own special ambiance. These are really very popular beaches due to the proximity of many hotels and villas so you will have to book well in advance.

Also take note of the time of the year as some beaches on the west coast of Bali will get very wet during the rainy season which is not ideal for a beach wedding. The rainy season in Bali is between November and February so if your planning a beach wedding during these months you should probably be having it on the drier East Coast; on the Sanur side.

Seminyak & Canggu

We are adding 2 more beaches here to our collection; Seminyak & Canggu. These are extremely popular areas in Southern Bali and are basically the tourist hubs. Having your wedding on either Seminyak or Canggu beach is fabulous due mainly to the great sunset photo opportunities. And if like most other travellers coming to Bali, your probably staying in one of our Seminyak villas. This means you and your guests do not have far to travel to get to the wedding ceremony and the after party if held at the villa is a short drive away.
