Getting Married in Bali? We can help with everything

There are hundreds of wedding venues and dozens of wedding planners in Bali that what might seem like a simple task is often quite difficult. There are so many great options and limitless possibilities that settling in a venue, area and most importantly a wedding planner is going to be the difference between a mediocre wedding and a fantastic event.

The main two things you really need to consider are where you want to get married and you wedding budget. These 2 factors will seriously dictate the type of wedding you are going to have in Bali.

Here are some options you might like to consider in terms of the location and style of wedding:

Beachfront Wedding – this is a really popular option as there are so many picturesque beaches which make for an incredible back drop as you tie the knot. Most of our weddings are held in areas close to villas we manage so more than likely your wedding venue will be somewhere close to Seminyak. If you intend to have it by the beach you simply cannot walk on the beach and go for it as there are local community fees to consider. This is why we can organise a venue close to the beach so once the ceremony is completed you can pop down for a few photos. This is why you need a wedding planner in Bali as this must be all organised well beforehand. Make sure you speak to Cyra and her team of wedding specialists about having your wedding near or on the beach.

Ocean view weddings – if you don’t like the idea of getting sand between your toes but still like the ambiance of the ocean as a back drop we can certainly help here by having your wedding reception in a villa on the beach. This is a ideal setting where you can see, hear and smell the ocean but still be in the privacy of your own luxurious villa.

Cliff View Weddings – Bali has some seriously dramatic cliff top views and if you want to capture some memorable wedding photos on top of some spectacular cliffs such as Uluwatu or Jimbaran Bay then please make sure you ask us about it. These places are really only around 60 minutes from Seminyak so they are easy to get to and well worth the effort. The cliff top views around the Bukit/Uluwatu area are really quite gorgeous.

Chapel Weddings – for those of you that want to have a more traditional style chapel wedding there are many chapels in hotels and resorts dotted around Bali. Some have spectacular floor to ceiling glass with dramatic ocean views which set the tone for that special day. From there once the ceremony is finished we can take you and your guests back to a venue or your villa for the after party. This is a seriously cool way to enjoy the event and we do recommend this highly.

Villa Weddings – we can’t tell you how popular our villa weddings are. People love the intimacy and privacy that our villas have. The best part about this is you can have the ceremony and reception in 1 place. There are hundreds of villa options to choose from ranging from the moderately priced to the more expensive luxurious villas that can accommodate up to 100-200 guests. Also make sure you speak to us about organising your villa accommodation in Bali for your honeymoon. We do manage over 550 villas so there’s sure to be something for everyone’s tastes, style and of course wedding budget.

Some FAQ’s

Why do you need a wedding planner?

Having your wedding in Bali is not like having it back home in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore or Malaysia. There awe different rules, customs and charges that you need to be aware of and you cannot simply turn up and expect to have your wedding. It needs to be organised and prepared for well in advance to avoid any wedding day hiccups.

How many days to I need to be here in Bali before the wedding?
At least 3 days to get the paper work organised with the embassy as make sure you are nice and relaxed before the big day. If you are coming from Europe you will need to get over the jet lag. For Aussie couples it’s a lot easier but it’s best to come here, enjoy your villa time beforehand, perhaps go for a surf, enjoy one of the fabulous day spas in Seminyak/Legian, top up the tan – basically enjoy yourself.
